Kefir Smoothies

We are enjoying kefir again. My friend, Hope gave us the kefir grains to begin. If you haven't heard of it, you could look it up on the internet and see that it is a healthy natural probiotic.

We put the kefir grains in a glass jar with whole milk. Let it set at room temperature. Then after 12-24 hours, you strain the kefir into the blender to make a smoothie. If you aren't ready to take care of kefir everyday, you could use yogurt. If you want to try kefir, let me know, it multiplies and I am always looking to share.
