As the days get warmer, my thoughts turn toward the garden. I am drawn outside into the sunshine. I start dreaming of what I will plant. Mike found a great company to buy heirloom seeds from. You can go to the website and request a catalog. They keep seeds and poultry varieties, so that they are not lost forever. I am looking forward to trying some interesting and colorful varieties. For example: Red Russian Kale, Royalty Purple Pod Bush Beans, and Cherry Belle Spring Radishes. We are also going to order more chickens, with cool feathers. Mike looks them up on the internet to decide which ones we will try.
The catalog we are using is from Sand Hill Preservation Center, located in Iowa.
