Merry Christmas!

We would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

Enjoying the cows before Grandpa Charles sold them in Sept.

Enjoying special times with Grandma Charles, who battled cancer this year, and God granted her healing.  We are so thankful!

At the end of 2014, we are thankful to God for His blessings and faithfulness.  Michael's days are spent working as the director of operations at River Valley Ranch, leading family worship, leading the praise team at church, wood working, running, and spending time with his family. Jewel home schools the children, keeps the house and garden, reads, enjoys being outdoors, and sometimes writes on her blog.  Jedrek, Slade, and Elena enjoy riding horse, running, riding bikes, and singing and playing on the praise team.  Blane likes to play with toys and plays music at home.  His favorite song right now is, "I'm Not a Baby Anymore!"

This past March, we all went to Nogales, Mexico to the Cuirim Outreach where we built relationships, built a pavilion for students, cooked, and served food to children.   In the summer, we went to Shenandoah National Park on vacation and later Michael, Jedrek, and Slade returned  to climb Old Rag Mountain and celebrate Jedrek's 13th birthday. We also enjoyed many bike rides, hikes, day trips, and trips to MA to visit Grandma and Grandpa Czaja.

We had a rough summer, especially with the loss of a camper at RVR.  God remains faithful and true through every trial.   It has been a hard year, but we are so blessed and thankful.  On this journey, we are trusting God, our hope and strength.

"Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God."
Psalm 90:1-2 (NKJV).
