The Broken Way

Liv is sitting on the porch swing, swinging back and forth with her daddy.  A precious moment.  I was so upset that the kids ran into her room during a water battle and woke her.  But, here she sits singing and swinging with her daddy.

These moments of redemption are everywhere, when we look for them.


I just finished reading The Broken Way by Ann Voscamp.  It took me forever to read because I've had a busy spring and I cried almost every time I picked it up.  It is encouraging, but deep and messy.  I recommend it because God is the God who takes our messes and brings good.

Ann says, "Never be afraid of broken things- because Christ is redeeming everything."
