Hopes to return to Mexico

We look forward to serving, learning, and being involved with the Cuirim Outreach.  Cuirim (Keer-um) Outreach began in 2005 to make disciples of Jesus Christ through service to the poor of Nogales, Sonora working under the direction of the local church in the Celtic monastic tradition of work, study and prayer.   We are taking our children so that they can see what God is doing in another place in the world.

This is from our tip in 2007.
Washing dishes at the Kid's Cafe

This is the house that Mike helped to build in the summer, 2007. Three students from River Valley Ranch went on this trip.

In 2012, we helped with a dental clinic, handed out beans and rice to people in the community, served at a Kid's Cafe (soup kitchen), helped to build another Kid's Cafe, and met with the pastor, his wife, and other people involved in the ministry.  It was encouraging to hear how God is changing lives in Mexico.

Work, study, and prayer are each meaningful and important to this life changing ministry.
God is still changing lives.  He is still changing me.
