This is the book I just read. It really has me thinking about getting to know my neighbors and structuring my day to enjoy relationships in the evenings. It also reaffirms what Mike and I have been doing over the past years, and one of the big issues I started blogging about: slowing down and focusing on important relationships and priorities. We have limited our evening activities, so that we can spend time with our family, having a relaxing meal where we enjoy talking about the events of the day. Then, we spend time together. This book has many more ideas that we have not yet implemented, which I have to think through and try out before I am totally on board. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this book. Who knows? It may have some ideas you may want to try, too. Here is a link which gives some exerpts.
